Below is a letter written by Colonel Richard Johnston, who was the Commander of the 320th Air Expeditionary Wing in Oman during Kimberly's Christmas tour of 2002. Kimberly and her band performed an unscheduled show in appreciation of the base and the hospitality that they showed her and the band during a period when every piece of luggage and equipment they had was lost by a commercial airliner. The base supplied Kimberly and the band with clothing and a hot shower that was very much appreciated. Thank you 320th Air Expeditionary Wing!
